After The Launch – Maintaining your Site
Updating content and running regular website maintenance are key to maximising return visits by both current and potential customers and clients. A neglected site results in outdated information, a lack of anything new to attract visitors and search engines, altogether giving an essentially stagnated and unprofessional impression. Visualeze recognize that each individual company has unique requirements that may be obvious at first or may arise after the site has begun to evolve. With that in mind you can expect total flexibility to build exactly the right hourly, monthly or annual maintenance plan for your needs. Due to the individualized nature of these plans, we ask that you get in touch to address your specific needs and receive an accurate estimate.
Visualeze maintenance services are based on a Pay As You Go rate of £45.00 per hour, agreed monthly and annual plans being subject to substantial discounts.
The servers utilised to host client sites have 24 hour, 365 days a year technical support to ensure that your site is live and functional whenever anyone tries to reach it. Insofar that those of our clients that make use of our hosting should reasonably expect their website be available and working for visitors, any server maintenance and repair costs that should arise will not be charged to clients.
Website Maintenance Tips
Check that all internal and external links are still working. Once informed of any errors, any broken links will be disabled until you supply the new address or decide to delete the link. This check ensures that visitors to your website do not suffer error-404 pages.
All billing is done in 15 minute increments, so reguiarly submitting small edits remains economical, which ensures fresh content for the search engines.
A search engine appraisal includes the reworking of keywords and meta tags as necessary and any subsequent re-submission to the major free search engines. While an appraisal can be requested at any time, it is strongly recommended that a full analysis of your website statistics be done at least annually at least to determine the need for any meta tag changes or content finessing.
